This Month in Premier Hospitality 10.5
Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality.
In this month’s issue we take a look at The Lowry Hotel; we check out Tattu Edinburgh; and we unveil the Stock Exchange Hotel.
The Lowry Hotel has re-invented its iconic riverside destination; leisure, dining and drinking offer by undertaking an ambitious seven-figure refurbishment.
Completed in September 2019, the five-star renovation saw an entire redesign of the hotel’s bar and restaurant. Retaining the incredible, unique riverside views and terrace and the Lowry’s unwavering commitment to service, the new lounge bar and restaurant features soft hues, a new layout and bespoke furnishings. Two new destination venues, the Lowry Lounge & Bar and River Restaurant each feature independent flair and personality.
Contemporary Chinese restaurant Tattu has officially opened the doors to its first Scottish venue in Edinburgh city centre. Taking traditional ingredients and classic flavours, combined with new ideas and cooking techniques, Tattu will serve its renowned Chinese-inspired cuisine with a number of exclusive dishes developed for the Edinburgh menu by Executive Chef Andrew Lassetter and his team.
Tattu Edinburgh welcomes guests to dine under a tunnel of Sakura blossom, creating the tranquillity of a Chinese garden setting. In China, the cherry blossom is a symbol of luck and good fortune, which is why the trees are a signature element of each Tattu site, each one being unique in design.
Stock Exchange Hotel, one of Manchester’s most eagerly anticipated hotels, opened on the 15th November 2019, as a member of Relais & Châteaux.
The former Stock Exchange building, located in the heart of Manchester, is a striking example of Edwardian architecture from the 20th Century and has been meticulously transformed into a hotel offering a collection of 40 rooms and suites, including two signature suites and a stunning 3,500 square foot penthouse residence.
With all this and more it’s time to sit back and tuck into another helping of Premier Hospitality. Go well!
