Palé Hall, one of the finest Country Manors in the UK is delighted to announce the hotel will go under a refurbishment seeing four new rooms and a re-imagined bar and restaurant with works set to be complete by May 2020. Dating back to the late 19th century, the house was lovingly restored by owners Alan and Angela Harper to its former glory in 2016. Palé Hall stands as one of Wales’s most important surviving Country homes.
The hotel comprises of 18 bedrooms as well as The Henry Robertson dining room that holds three AA Rosettes.
Guestrooms and Suites
The refurbishment will see bedrooms increase from 18 to up to 22-23 total occupancy with the addition of guest houses on the grounds to include The Barn, The Garden Cottage and two Coach House Suites.
The Barn – A spacious large open plan conversion consisting of two bedrooms which features custom wallpaper and carpets. Interiors are a collaboration of art deco and classical furnishings. Other features include a handmade kitchen, private hot tub and lounge at tree level.
The Garden Cottage – A quintessential English Cottage that houses one bedroom and interiors fitted with vintage botanical prints and tones taken from nature to evoke the Welsh countryside.
Coach House – Two duplex suites, a stone’s throw away from the main house, making for a perfect getaway for couples longing to hideaway, two rooms which will see modern furnishings nestle comfortable against antique finds.
This January 2020 will see Palé Hall increase covers from 48 to 60 following the refurbishment.
The bar to be called The Huntsman named after the intricate game carvings which adorn it, will offer bistro style dining, and casual seating in an informal and relaxed setting.
The Henry Robertson Dining Room will then move to the former drawing room and will now serve Palé Hall’s afternoon tea and exceptional fine dining menu by Head Chef Gareth Stevenson. The Venetian Dining Room will offer formal and casual menus, for families or private dining.
