Van Dyk by Wildes, the historic hotel and events venue nestled in the idyllic Derbyshire countryside, has launched a brand-new menu featuring a host of mouth-watering dishes. The new menu pays homage to classic British favourites as well as offering a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan options.
Carefully curated by Van Dyk’s award-winning in-house kitchen team using locally sourced, seasonal produce, the new menu features dishes from the grill, classics from world cuisine as well as salads, vegetarian and vegan options. From beer battered fish and chips and the Van Dyk classic burger to pan seared King scallops and crispy belly pork, there is something for everyone on the new menu.
Set in the grounds of the original Georgian house steeped in history, the new menu will be served in the Brasserie where guests can expect a relaxed atmosphere and exceptional service to complement the delectable dishes. The new menu coincides with the opening of Van Dyk’s new £6million refurbishment which includes a further 54 bedrooms, luxurious spa, Brasserie, three walled gardens and additional lavish reception, which will become the main entrance to the hotel.
Paul Wildes, CEO of the WILDES Group, comments: “The Brasserie at Van Dyk has always been the place to be in the area for delicious food and a great atmosphere and service. The team has worked tirelessly to put together the new menu and we can’t wait for our guests to experience it.”
