Iscoyd Park revolutionises event management with pioneering new platform
Written by Amy

Iscoyd Park, the award-winning wedding and events venue, is once again leading the way in the hospitality world by setting up a venue-centric event management platform, Hostology. Set to be a central hub for each event collaborator – venue, customer, suppliers and guests – the Hostology Platform aims to provide venues with a smart online tool to simplify their workflows and communications.

Designed and built by Iscoyd and four other experienced event hosts, Hostology champions the venue’s pivotal role in making a positive impact on the hosting journey; from the moment they meet the clients until the moment the last guests leave the venue. By providing improved customer service and a more organised planning process, the platform intends to free up the event team, giving them more time to spend on their client relationships. Venues, including Iscoyd Park, can offer an even more personal and collaborative service, replacing the endless exchange of Excel spreadsheets.

During the planning period, Iscoyd Park, alongside the other venues involved, worked collaboratively to build and trial the platform, ensuring that it is packed with features that they had found lacking in similar solutions. The result is a truly unique offering that they are now making available to other venues across the UK.

Hostology brings the many elements of organising bespoke events under one roof, vital to Iscoyd Park who see each wedding as an entirely bespoke event.  The service will become integral in their day-to-day running of events and help to streamline the highly exclusive service that they offer.

The platform houses a number of features that make the planning process a much more enjoyable one, including a dietary requirements compliance section with notes for specific guests, including allergens, through to room allocation for guests which allows them to pay directly, alleviating time wasted chasing for payment. Couples are able to access the platform to share the planning and to manage their guests and suppliers, allowing them to see how their event is progressing in real time and giving them comfort in the knowledge that everything is on track.

Owner and Director of Iscoyd Park, Phil Godsal, comments: “Hostology is something we have been working on for several years and there is nothing else like it out there. We are extremely excited to finally share it with other venues. Hostology is an absolute game changer for us in terms of communication, streamlining and systemising workflows and ultimately makes planning a wedding a much more enjoyable experience for our couples.”

Hostology officially launched at the beginning of February 2020 and is offering a free 30-day trial to any interested venues. There is a subscription change of £1 per event per month for as long as the event is active on the system, with a standard £10 retainer per month.
