The team always ensures that every aspect of the development process from finding the site, to handing over the completed, fully furnished and equipped building to the operator is dealt with efficiently.
Dalton have constructed high quality care homes right across the UK from Tyneside in the North to Dorset on the South coast, and from Gloucestershire in the West, to Norfolk in the East. Dalton always carries out up-front work on demographic profiling and research gaps in service provision to ensure that every business model succeeds.
The company works with a dedicated team of planners, architects, and advisers throughout every development scheme in order to ensure quality results. They also consult with care providers and social services at every stage of the process to make sure that the buildings under construction exceed every requirement of the Care Quality Commission’s care standards.

The team has worked on an array of specialist projects; Yew Tree Avenue, Redcar in Cleveland acts as a shining example of what Dalton is capable of achieving. There was huge demand in Cleveland for good quality nursing and residential care and the care home Dalton built on behalf of the Executive Care Group went some way to addressing these issues. The venue was the first of a new styled, future-proofed, 5-star hotel model of care and before the end of construction there was a waiting list of 45 residents lined up. The doors to the 75 bed venue opened in the spring of 2010 and impressed residents with its stunning facilities. These include a beauty salon, spa and a cinema which has proved to be a huge draw for new residents as has the extensive, landscaped garden. Residents can also get involved in planting up their own allotted areas in the garden space.
Planning consent was granted for the new build property in May 2009 and the construction programme took just over 12 months to complete. Overall the value of the project was £3.4 million. Dalton is very safety conscious and takes the safety of their employees very seriously.
