Choosing the right ladder for the job is proving harder than ever due to the influx of different types of ladders into the market.

Aluminium ladders are still the front runners in selection, however their glassfibre counterparts are slowly increasing their presence in the market place.

Lyte have recently expanded the already considerable glassfibre product range with a few new additions from their partners in America.

The Platform and Swingback stepladders are non-conductive to 30,000 volts and have the added bonus of an integral tool tray to make working at height that much easier.

Braces fitted to the bottom tread provide more support and enhance the strength of the tread for that initial contact between user and ladder.

Our new glassfibre range includes the pro shelf ladder which includes a unique ‘V’ shape design that offers greater stability on corners and non-marking rubber tread protects the work surface.  It also incorporates the ‘SHOX’ and ‘DaBoot’ features which gives the treads and feet a great deal of support in all of the right areas.

The user benefits from peace of mind knowing that the Lyte glassfibre range includes double riveted treads providing the ladder with extra durability and rigidity while ascending and descending. The user can also feel safe in the knowledge that the ladders have been produced by a well-established British company. Lyte has been manufacturing aluminium and glass fibre access equipment for over 65 years, supplying users in many countries all over the world.
