Train company TransPennine Express is launching a new evening service from Hull to Manchester giving customers more time to catch a show or enjoy an extra hour with friends before heading home.
Launching on Monday, 22 May 2017, the new service will leave Hull at 22:33 and call at Brough, Selby, Leeds, Dewsbury and Manchester Victoria.
The extra train will allow customers to travel home following UK City of Culture 2017 shows, exhibitions and events.
Along with this, a 22:07 Hull to Leeds train is also being introduced on Sundays, calling at Brough and Selby.
Hull Paragon is currently being given a fresh new look and TPE is investing £1.4million in enhancements such as a new waiting room, toilets and brand new retail outlets.
TPE will shortly commence a full refurbishment of its existing train fleet and those travelling to and from Hull will soon benefit from free on-board Wi-Fi, charging points at every pair of seats and an on-board entertainment system as part of a £32million investment. The seat covers, carpets and tables are also being replaced as part of the makeover and it will feel like a brand new train.

“We are also pleased to confirm that this service will remain in place after 2017, benefitting customers for years to come.”
