Market leading specialist, Portview Fit-Out, is set to compete against the world’s top design brands in this year’s Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, with four of its hospitality projects shortlisted for three major accolades.

Equipped with a strong ethos for turning ambitious design concepts into reality, Portview has earned its reputation for delivering unrivalled quality when it comes to interiors. Recognising Portview’s craftsmanship, the Wallpaper* Bar and Restaurant in Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge; and the Arnold Hills, The Royal East, and the Great Briton suites in London Stadium; have all been selected by industry experts for the prestigious awards.

The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards is a globally recognised competition dedicated to the design of food and beverage spaces. This covers every imaginable space, from ships to airports, museums to hotels, and from revered Michelin-starred establishments to the fleeting dynamism of pop-ups.

Simon Campbell, Managing Director at Portview Fit-Out, said:

“This is a huge achievement for us not only because it helps to put Portview on the international stage, but it also recognises the talent of our hard-working, ingenious teams who deliver our exceptional projects.

“Given the calibre of the competition, being shortlisted for the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards proves we can compete at the highest possible level with not just one outstanding project, but four.”

The awards attract the world’s top designers, hospitality operators and judges from the UK and globally. Recent names include Zaha Hadid, Kengo Kuma, Foster & Partners, Stephen Alden, Gordon Ramsay, Alberto Alessi, Thomas Heatherwick and many more.

Simon Campbell continued:

“Being finalists in these top industry awards further fuels our determination and drive to be the best in the business not only in the UK and Ireland, but internationally also. Having established a strong track record for producing award-winning projects in the luxury retail and hospitality sectors, we are extending our services in the stadia and corporate sector to meet with growing demand. With plenty to keep us busy throughout 2017, we are looking forward to achieving more milestones ahead.”

The shortlist for the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, which will be held at London’s King’s Cross on the 5th October 2017, include some of the most talked-about international projects from places as diverse as the United Arab Emirates, China, Italy, Japan, Australia, South Africa, Denmark, Panama, Singapore and the USA.

Portview Fit-Out has also been shortlisted in this year’s CEF Construction Excellence Awards for its fit-out of Lush Cosmetics’ corporate offices in Soho, London.
