Legacy Hotels is thrilled to win back Cheshire born, Executive Head Chef Peter Hazlehurst to the fold. Peter has agreed to complete the new executive team at Crabwall Manor, following Legacy’s purchase of this Chester landmark property.
Peter has a history of working with Legacy Hotels & Resorts and Chief Executive Officer Andy Townsend, after the pair met at the former Parkgate Hotel in 1992. They have since teamed up regularly over the years, as Legacy expanded its portfolio and Peter’s reputation for creative á la carte and banqueting menus grew. Peter rejoins Legacy following 10 years as Head Chef at the Royal Victoria Hotel in Llanberis, North Wales, with a tantalising new approach for the 65 cover Earl of Chester Restaurant. “I am looking forward to cooking for this cultivated, regional audience. We will lift the restaurant’s reputation to match its four star surroundings, but keep things simple, approachable and relaxed” said Hazlehurst.
Andy Townsend, Chief Executive Officer, comments on Peter joining the Chester property’s team; “We are delighted to welcome Peter to Crabwall Manor, continuing his relationship with Legacy Hotels & Resorts. It is great to reunite and work with Peter having worked together on and off for some 25 years. We look forward to re-establishing Crabwall as one of the premier hotels and wedding venue in the region. I am genuinely excited to see how Peter will bring his abundant creativity to the Earl of Chester Restaurant and the Hotel’s wedding and banqueting offer”.
