Wrights Revolutionise Vending With The Launch of Urban Bistro
Written by Amy

Urban Bistro is the exciting new vending concept from Wrights Food Group, ideally suited for the requirements of any office, factory, retail or leisure facility.

Established in 1926, Wrights Food Group has been renowned for producing quality, wholesome food; supplying a wide selection of both sweet and savoury food for both retail and wholesale application. Now, with the launch of Urban Bistro it is redefining the vending experience, combining a range of delicious fresh food with the nations’ favourite brands, offering a complete full service solution.

Food is prepared by Wrights’ chefs and delivered to customers the same day. Unit stocks are monitored around the clock via a live telemetry system, which informs the Wrights’ customer care team who manage and distribute products as required. The system intelligently manages stock to reduce wastage and maximise product sales.

“Urban Bistro vending machines offer a cost effective, round the clock, alternative to manned cafeterias without compromising on quality or taste. At the push of a button you can see live information about stock levels, wastage, sale prices and security.” Peter Wright Chairman and CEO of Wrights Food Group continues, “all units, in addition to taking cash payments, utilise an advanced cashless payment system for use with contactless and magstrip debit/credit cards, Apple pay and Android pay.”

The vending machines stock an extensive range of delicious hot snacks and freshly prepared sandwiches, alongside some of the nations’ favourite branded hot and cold drinks and confectionery which is supplied and replenished by Wrights. Customers can choose the contents based on the preferences and dietary requirements of their organisation.

Available as modular or singular units, customers can buy, hire or loan units depending on the individual size and requirements of each organisation. Units can be configured to the specific requirements of any business, requiring only a standard 240v plug socket and a fresh water supply. There are counter-top solutions available too.
