Leading German Kitchen manufacturer in the UK, Rotpunkt is proud to announce its pioneering and new Terragrey Finish has been shortlisted as a ‘Star kitchen Product’ at this year’s EK&BBusiness Awards.
Taking place on 29th November 2018 in the historical setting of The Brewery, London, all product finalists will announced on the night, as selected by its distinguished judging panel who will evaluate the past 12 months brand activity across the kitchens and bathrooms industry.
The Star Kitchen Product category looks for recently launched products that are a cut above the rest, and have qualities and features that are outstanding and make an impact with retailers and consumers.
EK&BBusiness Editor, Leigh-Anne Roberts comments “The standard of entries across all the categories is even higher than last year – it’s going to be a tough job for our esteemed panel of experts. Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter – let the judging commence!”
In light of market trends, Rotpunkt introduced a host of new finishes in 2018, with Terragrey answering the call for contemporary matt finishes that evoke a more universal look and feel. Simple sharp lines typify the modern kitchen and Terragrey provides the perfect framework for a kitchen with linear profiling and open-plan, accent storage.
Satisfying more contemporary ideals with its ubiquitous colour palette, Terragrey is a laminate solution which is accentuated by the subtleties of Black Line: a fine black circumferential zero-joint edging that defines each door, drawer and unit. In addition, the matt black fixtures and fittings all work together to create an overall aesthetic that is timelessly balanced and halcyon in style.
The new laser-edged Terragrey doors and carcass are seen here in a matt lacquer with distinct slab door frontage: vertical Dutch grooves also available. Doors can be finished in Melamine or HPL (high pressure laminate), and if made-to-order, can be finished in gloss: matt finish as standard.
HP laminate finishes are fast becoming the preferred choice for progressive homeowners that want a kitchen that contends with modern life. Designed to offer high design flexibility, HPL’s strong construction will ensure acute durability and a natural resistance against fingerprints.
Matt Phillips Head of UK Operations, Rotpunkt UK says “Everyone at Rotpunkt UK is thrilled to been shortlisted for this prestigious business award and have its latest innovations for the kitchen be recognised by such a recognised industry body. As a premium manufacturer, it is our responsibility to explore, research and foresee what our retailers need to offer their customers to remain competitive. It’s all about finish at the moment and our new Terragrey finish is no exception: bringing that all important ‘wow factor’ into the modern kitchen.”
In addition to its impressive design credentials, Terragrey is also an eco-conscious furniture solution, being manufactured; without compromising on quality and stability. Conserving more of our natural forests, a Terragrey kitchen is made using BioBoard, the sustainable, green and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional chip board which has a propensity to splinter, crack and hold on to water: not great in a humid environment like the kitchen!
