Civil and Electrical Engineering Experts McCann Set to Exhibit at Traffex 19

Nottingham-based civil and electrical engineering firm McCann is preparing to exhibit at Traffex 19 this April – welcoming both current and prospective clients to its stand across a busy three days to discuss project requirements.

Traffex 19 takes place at Birmingham’s NEC from the 2nd – 4th April 2019 and welcomes a wealth of industry professionals and local authorities as well as a host of companies exhibiting from across the country.

McCann, a UK-wide full-service provider of civil and electrical engineering solutions, will be exhibiting on stand D025 and is looking to maintain its momentum from 2018 after the company worked across several high-profile projects.

These included work on the M1 junction 23a – 25 smart motorway scheme, the refurbishment and upgrade of historic lighting columns for London’s West End Project and ongoing LED street lighting projects in Calderdale, West Yorkshire, the London Borough of Hillingdon and North East Lincolnshire.

The business also won its third consecutive RoSPA Gold Award and became an approved partner of the Association for Public Service Excellence in 2018.

For McCann’s Managing Director John McCann, being in attendance at Traffex is vital for the company’s profile as it continues to innovate and lead the way in its industry.

“We have seen in recent years a real need for local authorities to be able to call upon a single company that can act as a complete partner, delivering different aspects of electrical and civil engineering – whether that’s asset management, LED lighting installation and maintenance, highways works or ICP connections,” said John.

“At McCann we’re proud to cover all areas of civil and electrical engineering, with LED lighting installation and maintenance proving to be a significant growth area for us as a business. Investment in this area is only going to expand with the continual need for environmentally friendly, sustainable approaches to street lighting from local authorities across the UK,”

He continues, “Traffex 19 promises three days packed with product showcases and the opportunity to network and showcase our expertise to hundreds of fellow industry professionals and local authorities.”30
