Georgian House Promotes Rising Star to General Manager
Written by Amy

Georgian House has announced the promotion of Florence Alloing to general manager of the boutique five-star property in London’s Victoria.

Florence joined the Grade II-listed, family-run Georgian House at the start of the year and has quickly made her mark as reception and revenue manager. For the position of general manager, Florence went up against a number of external candidates but came out on top thanks to her passion and ambition.

Previous roles at Park Plaza Victoria London, South Place Hotel, Apex City of London and Intercontinental London Park Lane, as well as three years in her home country of France at Le Grand Balcon Hotel in Toulouse, mean Florence brings extensive hospitality experience to Georgian House.

Speaking after her appointment, Florence Alloing, new general manager of Georgian House, said: “I’m very excited to start my new role – my time so far at Georgian House has been a fantastic experience and I can’t wait to take on new challenges as general manager. My passion is for delighting guests throughout their experience and at Georgian House there will be endless opportunities to do so.”

Owner of Georgian House, Serena von der Heyde, said: “I am delighted that Florence is progressing so quickly and she has already made a huge impact since joining the team. I’m really pleased that through this appointment, our ethos of opportunity, growth and diversity is demonstrably working in practice. Florence is a dynamic talent and undoubtedly ready to take Georgian House forward on the next step of our journey.”
