Famously recognised for its breathtaking views of London and contemporary British cuisine, aqua shard, located on the 31st floor of The Shard, are launching their festive afternoon tea for 2019. Guests can enjoy festive twists on afternoon tea favourites while surrounded by magnificent panoramic views. The festive afternoon tea will be available from Monday 18th November until Wednesday 1st of January.
The team at aqua shard has worked to ensure that each element of the afternoon tea adapts to the winter theme flawlessly, with a variety of mouth-watering festive fare. Guests can begin the journey with a selection of savoury sandwiches, including Turkey and Cranberry and Lettuce, Black Truffle and Egg Sandwiches, Fig Chutney and Brie as well as a Crumpet with Smoked Salmon.
No afternoon tea is complete without traditional scones, and aqua shard are providing freshly-baked vanilla scones as guests work their way up the tea stand. A selection of homemade cakes and sweet treats top off the tea, including a moreish Gingerbread, Milk Chocolate and Coffee Christmas Tree, a sweet Clementine and Prosecco Trifle as well as a fun Pear and Cinnamon Santa Hat.
