Rendall & Rittner has had a tremendously successful year expanding its business in the Northern Powerhouse – with growth in several major cities including York, Leeds and Manchester. These significant wins are a testament to its stellar reputation which has grown exponentially in the north of England.

New developments include Hudson Quarter, comprising 127 apartments and 35,000 sq. ft. of commercial space located in Toft Green, York. The scheme will provide the city with luxury apartments and will be the first new speculative office building of its size to be constructed in the city since the 1990s. Rendall & Rittner will provide consulting services whilst the building is under construction and will then manage the residential, commercial and estate aspects of the site from completion early 2021.

Matt Kirk, Divisional Director at Rendall & Rittner, comments: “Our new instructions include some significant buildings such as Hudson Quarter in York, Warford Park, Pegasus Court, Pulse (all in and around Manchester), and Watermans Place in Leeds; all of which are excellent additions to the Rendall & Rittner portfolio.  We are looking forward to working on these schemes and will be delivering the professional service that our customers have come to expect.”

Watermans Place, in Leeds, is a mixed-use development with restaurants and shops to the ground floor. It is situated in a vibrant area of Leeds, right next to the train station. The development is a striking brick, wooden and copper residential development consisting of 122 apartments, reaching 14 storeys. The development includes a management centre, residents parking, a piazza style central courtyard and a resident’s roof top terrace.

Finally, Pegasus Court is also retirement housing, situated in Rochdale, Greater Manchester and consists of four large apartment blocks. The development has 60 apartments, bungalows and cottages that are ideal for retirees. There are many facilities that will be managed by Rendall & Rittner, such as a lounge, laundry, guest facilities, gardens, a conservatory and a library. Both of these substantial estates have plenty of room for growth and investment in the coming future.

The Pulse is located in Trafford, Manchester, made up of 133 apartments is aimed at professionals with an excellent commute into the city centre, the nearest train station just a five-minute walk away. The gated development offers security to residents, as well as landscaped gardens and communal seating areas.
