Premier Hospitality International 2.5

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality International.

In this month’s issue we take a look at The Sinclair; we check out The Ritz Carlton, South Beach; and we explore The Wayfarer DTLA.

A historic art deco icon meets cutting edge luxury at The Sinclair, a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel. The new Sinclair awakens the majesty of its landmark building in downtown Fort Worth to anchor Sundance Square as a preeminent luxury destination.

Originally home to the Sinclair Oil Company in the 1930s, The Sinclair has been restaged as a modern icon and the city’s first-ever smart hotel. Beginning in 2015, renowned design firm, Dash Design, in partnership with Merriman Anderson Architects, thoughtfully restored and redesigned the property to retain the building’s signature “ZigZag Moderne” structural styling.

Following a $90m renovation, The Ritz Carlton, South Beach, has re-opened. The historic Art Deco resort boasts an elegant new design and is poised to become one of the most coveted destinations in South Florida.

Ideally located in the heart of South Beach, Miami, the landmark hotel was originally imagined by architect Morris Lapidus, and following its floor-to-ceiling restoration is set to deliver a rare and refined experience marked by timeless design and thoughtful programming.

Recently opened in Downton Los Angeles’ historic Broadway Corridor, The Wayfarer DTLA is designed to change the way Angelenos – and their visitors – view community togetherness.

The venue was originally opened in 1923 as the Ritz Milner – a premier, state-of-the-art hotel for the middle-class, and one of the first hotels in downtown Los Angeles to be fully fireproof and to feature individual bathrooms for each room.

Stunning new design elements pay tribute to the past and give the building a new meaning that is better suited for today’s urban context. More than a new hotel in downtown Los Angeles, The Wayfarer is a fresh way to experience the city.

With all this and more, it’s time to sit back and marvel at all of the great projects across the world, courtesy of Premier Hospitality International.
