It has been confirmed that Uliving has been identified as the preferred bidder for the construction and management of new student accommodation as part of the development of the University of Brighton’s Moulsecoomb campus.
The new 800-bed development of student accommodation forms the centrepiece of the wider transformation of the University’s single biggest campus as part of a masterplan that includes the neighbouring Preston Barracks site.
Commenting on the announcement, Sue McHugh, Director of Campus Strategy at the University, said: “We are pleased to announce Uliving as preferred bidder for the new student accommodation at the Moulsecoomb campus. This is a hugely important development for the University and the City and delivers on a key commitment in our current five-year strategy.”

It is anticipated that a full contract award will be announced by the end of May subject to successful completion of the preferred bidder stage.
