Legacy Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce the roll out of Room to Reward’s unique hospitality charity scheme, across its managed portfolio. The hotel management company supports the charity’s dedication to rewarding special individuals with a short break, by utilising unsold hotel rooms.

Room to Reward is an organisation committed to providing hotel stays to staff members and volunteers of the charity sector, through its national charity partnerships. Individuals are nominated to receive a ‘thank you’ stay at a partner hotel, to recognise and reward their exceptional work for the charity. With 130 hotel partners and 100 charity partners, Room to Reward has donated over £70,000 of hotel stays to over 185 ‘Hidden Heroes’.

Adam Terpening, charity director welcomed Legacy Hotels & Resorts saying, “Legacy Hotels has been a fantastic, long-term supporter of Room to Reward and we are delighted to now be able to include all of its UK properties in our initiative. Room to Reward is completely dependent on the generosity of our hotel partners, so when a company with the number and range of properties – and industry reputation – of Legacy Hotels goes ‘all in’ it really makes a difference in terms of what we are able to offer the Hidden Heroes.”

Legacy Hotels & Resorts also announces its CEO, Andy Townsend as an ambassador for the charity, further strengthening the group’s goal to work closely with Room to Reward and its purpose. Mr Townsend commented, “We are delighted to be increasing our support of Room to Reward. It’s a fantastic way for the hotel industry to give something back to our communities and we are proud to be part of it.”
