London Build 2019 (November 27th & 28th, Olympia London) is the leading and largest construction & built environment show for London, attracting influential decision makers. For a second consecutive year, Gira is a confirmed exhibiter – Stand C36 – and again, is set to exclusively host the VIP Lounge for the duration of the show and headline the VIP Evening.
The London commercial sector is the biggest in the country and is home to over 800,000+ businesses, vast commercial construction projects, driven by one of the strongest economies of any city in the world. The opportunities for the Interiors industry in London are vast, especially as within the next seven years London’s population is set to rocket to over 10 million (making London a world ‘megacity’), so London needs to build a staggering 66,000+ new homes a year.
Mark Booth Managing Director, Gira UK says “To be shortlisted for a London Build Award, let alone four, is a real testament for both our brand and business: nationally and internationally. We’re so proud to be positioned at the forefront of design and innovation for the ‘Smart Home’, allowing the modern property to convene with lifestyle, personal preferences and daily routine.”
“As the population adapts to technology at an upward pace, we are working in tandem to influence, guide, support and importantly, offer quality solutions to the construction market that promote optimum design and excellence” says Mark.
eNet SMART HOME heating control with tado°
Gira collaborate with tado° to create a smart heating control system for the eNet SMART HOME. Convenience for maximum living comfort, the eNet SMART HOME heating control with tado° wireless technology enables convenient control of radiators and underfloor heating. This is all operated via the intelligent networking of a Gira eNet wireless wall transmitter or the eNet SMART HOME app on the Gira G1 or a smartphone.
Plug + Light
Gira Plug + Light is a new and defined interface which unites light control and power supply. Combined with appropriate light top units, Plug + Light offers easily controllable indoor lighting – from dimming to warm dim – making it an infallible solution for professional electricians, installers and system integrators so flexible indoor lighting can come to life for the end customer. For flicker-free, dimmable light in a matching switch design, Plug + Light is an innovative open system which can be used with standard Gira flush-mounted device boxes, as well as models from Gira‘s British Standard Range. Installation is also incredibly simple, as Plug + Light lamps are docked to the light socket outlet via a convenient and powerful magnet. Once inserted in to the Plug + Light socket outlet, each lamp can freely rotate 360° and even be replaced during operation.
Gira Smoke Alarm Dual Q
Twice as safe by measuring both temperature and scattered light, the new Gira Dual Q smoke alarm device is equipped with two detection processes and marked with the Q quality seal. Attaining twice the level of safety, Gira Dual Q visually identifies small smoke particles before the situation gets too dangerous. In addition, thermal sensors measure temperature changes within the room. In this way various types of fires, such as liquid fire, can be registered more rapidly and reliably identified. For even more safety, convenience and efficiency, the functions of the Gira Dual Q smoke alarm device can be networked and expanded through optionally available devices: up to 40 devices.
