Keyline improves its Pipeline with cast iron partnership

The UK’s number one Civils Specialists, Keyline, has announced a new partnership with Saint-Gobain PAM to provide cast iron drainage technology to its customers Nationally.

The stock holding, which includes Timesaver, Ensign, and VortX Floor, Roof & Shower drainage systems ranging in size from four to 12-inch diameters, is available from Keyline depots in Braintree, Canning Town, Hayes, Northfleet, and Willesden, plus both Rudridge Brentford and Gravesend. Currently, purchasers are able to receive next day delivery for the product if they’re located within the M25 – this is set to expand in the future.

Ideal for use in residential and commercial buildings, cast iron (CI) systems have numerous benefits compared to polyvinyl chloride, or PVC, piping, including superior fire resistance, as CI does not burn or release gas at the temperatures generally experienced during a structure fire. It also provides greater noise suppression due to its density, making it an excellent choice for drain and waste systems.

Since stocking this cast iron drainage technology, Keyline have been chosen as the suppliers on a number of high-profile jobs, including; Manchester and Heathrow airport, Tottenham Hotspurs new stadium, Battersea Power Station and the new Google HQ.

Paul Massenhove, Keyline’s Regional Director for the South East, comments: “I am always seeking new opportunities and knew this was a good market to tap into, due to high customer demand. Sometimes thinking differently about the products we stock means looking outside of Keyline and this partnership has proved a great success for us and it is just one small step to expanding Keyline nationally.”
