Sorrel has partnered with industry leading fine wine supplier Keeling Andrew & Co to offer guests unique and scarcely available wines to complement the Michelin Star restaurant’s ever evolving food menu.
From the by the glass offering to rare finds, the list will be updated seasonally with a diverse selection including small artisanal producers, chosen to further reflect Sorrel’s ethos for the finest independent suppliers, like the much sought after Dujac, a favourite of chef patron Steve Drake.
Head Sommelier Richard Burton and Assistant Sommelier Francesca Baranello will lead guests on a journey of discovery across both classic and emerging, Old and New World Regions. Even the most adventurous wine lovers will be wowed by fine wines available at only a handful of restaurants in the UK. Connoisseurs will fall in love with wines such as those from the elegant Ribera Sarca, created in one of Spain’s lesser-known but spectacularly beautiful regions.
Chef patron at Sorrel, Steve Drake says: “We’re delighted to partner with Keeling Andrew & Co. to bring a unique world class wine experience to match the food we serve at Sorrel. Due to the scarcity of some varieties, the list will evolve with time creating a point of interest and exciting reason to return.”
Mark Andrew, Director of Keeling Andrew & Co, adds: “We are excited to develop a wine program that complements Steve’s superlative seasonal cooking and mirrors his passion for authentic, artisanal produce.”
